Tricia created Bucks Recycling and built the company from scratch to the present day turnover of over £6m, employing 80 people and running a fleet of 30 lorries. As a teacher in her past life, she believes passionately in education and all employees are actively encouraged down the path of learning.
Loves: The colour green, theatre, dark chocolate and pretty much anything miniature – especially her two gorgeous grandsons.
Francesca Murray-Smith
Director
Francesca has worked in the business since its formation back in 2002. She knows all of our regular, loyal customers. Francesca will often visit a site with a bacon sandwich or sausage roll as a birthday surprise or just to cheer up a customer having a bad day. Francesca is creative in her work and drives customer service to the highest level. She is the jewel in our crown.
Loves: Running, pasta, wine and her boys.
Radu Cotosman MSc(Hons) MEng(Hons) COTC WAMITAB
Waste Operations ManagerÂ
As a seasoned and knowledgeable waste professional, Radu manages the entire waste in and out operations side of the business. He is responsible for generating revenue from waste, procuring contracts with outlets for disposal whilst ensuring that our high recycling rate and zero landfill figures are maintained.

Simon Wright
MRF ManagerÂ
Simon started at Bucks Recycling in 2020 as a HGV lorry driver and has since gone on to be promoted to MRF (materials recovery facility) Manager on site. He manages all of our machine operatives and site to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations. His continuous positivity and can-do attitude is a great asset to the company.

Arron Gorbutt
CPC Transport Manager & FORS Practitioner Â
Arron joined Bucks Recycling in 2021 as an HGV Driver and has worked his way up to Transport Manager. He passed his CPC Transport Manager exams first time and recently qualified as a FORS Practitioner. As the holder of the Operator’s Licence, he is responsible for internal audits and compliance for the entire fleet of company vehicles. A real grafter, Arron is not afraid to roll up his sleeves and take charge where needed; anything from managing a large project, like the installation of the new weighbridge office, to covering phones in the busy Customer Services department.
Loves: His family, playing football, Everton F.C., skiing, holidays.
Phil Clarke
CPC Transport & HGV Driver ManagerÂ
As HGV Driver Manager, Phil is responsible for managing the drivers of our HGVs, holding regular meetings and communicating all things Transport to the drivers. He passed his CPC Transport exams, also joining a very low percentage of those who pass first time. He is based in the Weighbridge and his day-to-day duties include routing the lorries, dealing with issues with drivers whilst on customer sites and will provide emergency cover by going out in a lorry for the day.
Emily Waldram BA(Hons) MAAT
Finance Manager
Emily joined our Finance Department after graduating from university in 2016. She grasped the principles of bookkeeping so quickly, her boss recommended studying for AAT qualifications. Emily has now passed Levels I, II, III and IVÂ while achieving 100% in many of the exams. Emily is a diligent and meticulous individual, and runs a very tight finance department.

Lucy Britnell LLB(Hons) Law SMCIWM
Business Development Executive
Lucy joined us in 2021, fresh out of university as a Law Graduate. She quickly discovered her passion for customer service, customer relations, generating and chasing leads. She is now the first point of call for all of our Key Accounts, holding regular meetings with them to further strengthen the working relationship between us and them. Her passion and enthusiasm for her work makes her a valuable and dynamic member of the Customer Services team, taking a very high level of pride in her work and her relationships with the customers.

Lianne Stevens
Customer Service & Marketing Assistant
Our booking software expert, Lianne has been a part of Bucks Recycling for over 10 years. A knowledgeable and meticulous individual, she is currently undertaking the heavy task of rolling out the new portal to some of our biggest clients. Lianne is also our secret weapon in any pub quiz – her knowledge is impressive!
Loves: Books, graphic novels, music, her little boy and her cats, and anything Irregular Choice.
Joanna Kyprianou
Customer Service Team Leader
Joanna joined us almost two years ago, and brought with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in customer service. A valuable asset to the team, she excels in customer service and brings a vibrancy to the office that never fails to cheer us up. Joanna’s calm and nurturing demeanour as Team Leader helps to maintain the team’s focus and productivity, especially during busy times.
In her spare time, and at weekends, she gigs around the country as a singer and performer. Sometimes she even treats us to a performance at work when she is practising!

Shoaib Keenger
Customer Services Executive
Shoaib joined the Bucks Recycling Customer Services team in January 2024. He balances the department perfectly with his calm and grounded manner.
With a law degree and a background in nightclub security, he’s got the legal know-how and the street smarts to tackle any challenge that comes his way. But don’t let his tough exterior fool you—behind that dry sense of humour and quick wit is a friendly and approachable person ready to assist with any enquiries.

Grace Miles
Head of Logistics
Grace is a positive and hard working member of the team, heading up the Logistics Department based in the weighbridge. She became our first female HGV driver, passing her Class 1 and Class 2 HGV driving tests in 2023, giving her the knowledge and experience needed to route the lorries effectively.
Loves: Cars, pub nights with friends, and her family.
Suzanne Clarke
Transport Administrator
Suzanne has worked for Bucks Recycling for over 8 years. She started in the customer services department before moving over to transport, which she enjoys. Suzanne is responsible for regular driver eye tests, uploading tacho data, checking licences and all essential admin that goes with running 30 lorries. Suzanne is always calm and kind to everyone she works with. She is a genius at wrapping gifts and can make a pair of socks look like a million-dollar present.
Loves: Her children, fashion and going for a coffee and cake.
Hon Gorak
Logistics Planner & Weighbridge OperatorÂ
The newest member of the Bucks Recycling office family, Hon joined the weighbridge team in October 2023. From a logistics background, she is the perfect fit to assist with permits, routing and booking our lorries in to large construction sites. As weighbridge operator she is responsible for weighing lorries on and off, producing paperwork, waste acceptance/rejection and uploading tickets to supplier portals.
Loves: Travelling, sports, cooking, reading, exploring.
Liz Lewis
Accounts Receivable
Liz deals with credit control and invoicing and is our longest serving employee in the office with 14 years under her belt. Liz tries to ensure a watertight operation in accounts – nothing gets past her! She is known as our Rock Cake Queen and enjoys making cakes for special occasions and sometimes just to cheer us up.
Loves: Baking, family, dancing and trips out.
Suzi Gerrard
Accounts Payable
Suzi joined the Bucks Recycling Customer Services team in 2022 but moved into accounts to support the rapidly growing department. Suzi is trained to cover all duties relating to the department, as well as being Customer Service, Weighbridge and First Aid trained. A truly unique character, she loves all things ‘geek’ and is always sporting a fresh set of seasonal nails!
Loves: Yoga, Scottish Highlands, Animals – particularly Reindeer, Harry Potter, all things Disney & Christmas – any opportunity to dress as an Elf, she’s on it!
Porsha Smith Assoc CIPD Â
HR AdministratorÂ
Porsha has recently completed her Level 3 in HR Practice and is now an Associate Member of CIPD. She also has a Level 3 qualification as a Mental Health Workplace First Aider, as well as being a First Aider for the offices and site. As a many-talented individual, Porsha is trained to support all office departments and so will soon be joining the newly formed Business Support Services team.

Kevin ‘Timo’ Timson
Waste Logistics ManagerÂ
Timo has been with Bucks Recycling for nearly 10 years, starting as a RORO driver and worked his way to Waste Logistics Manager. Timo oversees our external operations on site, the RORO lorry drivers and artic lorry. He works closely with our site managers to organise our processed waste to be taken to the necessary outlets, when he is not too busy making jokes and making people laugh!

Anthony Wetherall
MRF Supervisor
Anthony joined Bucks Recycling in 2020 as a machine operative and is now MRF Supervisor. He supports the MRF Manager and maintenance team with the daily maintenance of our fixed plant (picking station) as well as covering the day to day running of site. As Bucks Recycling’s designated eco-warrior he has also done some amazing work on site; creating habitats for the local wildlife and planting trees.
